Congratulations Renee Grout, Newly Elected Albuquerque City Councilor

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, New Mexico- Abortion Free New Mexico would like to congratulate newly elected Albuquerque City Councilor Renee Grout (District 9). Grout signed our pro-life pledge and won her special election run-off race obtaining 52% of the vote! Dan Lewis (District 5) who also signed our pro-life pledge received the most votes in his district with 52% of the vote as well on November 2nd!

“Albuquerque is the late term abortion capital of the nation and we are pleased to see that candidates who are taking a bold stand for life are winning their races. In fact, both of the candidates running for the Albuquerque City Council who signed Abortion Free New Mexico’s Pro-Life Pledge won their races handily. This shows that life is a winning issue with the voters of Albuquerque,” stated Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico

Abortion Free New Mexico’s Pro-Life Pledge states:

“I pledge to defend life from conception to natural death. In making and keeping this pledge, I am committed to ending all abortion and all assisted suicide in the state of New Mexico.”

Renee Grout, issued the following statement,

“Thank you District 9 for your support. I am humbled by this opportunity to represent you and move Albuquerque forward. I’m so excited about what the future holds for our beautiful city.”

With the election of City Councilors Renee Grout and Dan Lewis, there is the potential for a major power shift leaning towards a pro-life majority on the Albuquerque city council if there is one pro-life democrat who joins the conservatives in defending life!

UPDATE: More 2022 Candidates Sign Pro-Life Pledge As U.S. Supreme Court Revisits Roe

    By Bud Shaver,

Albuquerque, New Mexico- On Wednesday, December 1, 2021 over 75 people gathered at Tiguex Park for an Overturn Roe Prayer Rally hosted by Abortion Free New Mexico and Off The Cuff ABQ Talk Radio. For on that day, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Washington D.C. in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson, which is the most important case to come before the U.S. Supreme Court in more than a decade. Albuquerque was one of 85 separate OverturnRoe.org rallies that took place from coast to coast letting the Supreme Court know that our nation is ready for Roe to go.

Tara Shaver spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement,

“Today we come together to pray that Roe is overturned and when this happens each state will finally be able to end abortion. As we prepare for that day, our work in New Mexico must be even more strategic than ever before. We must redouble our efforts to get pro-life candidates elected down the ballot and especially in our state legislature, both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Pro-Life New Mexicans must remember that even if we win the governor’s seat in 2022, it’s the legislators that introduce and pass legislation that is then brought to the governor to be signed into law. This fact makes it all the more urgent for pro-life people to step up and run for office so that life saving bills finally have a chance to protect future generations of children in the womb. The time for sitting on the sidelines is over. This is and has always been a matter of life and death.”

BREAKING: Several 2022 Candidates Join Abortion Free New Mexico For Overturn Roe Prayer Rally

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, New Mexico- Cries of “Overturn Roe” will be voiced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and across the nation on December 1, 2021, as the United States Supreme Court hears arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson. The case has gathered substantial attention from both life advocates and abortion backers because it is the most significant challenge to Roe v. Wade to rise up in the courts in more than a decade. OverturnRoe.org, a pro-life coalition, is taking the battle over abortion to the streets on December 1 to voice their encouragement for upending the 1973 decision that legalized abortion in the United States. On December 1st, citizens will gather to pray and rally at Tiguex park in Albuquerque to urge the repeal of abortion on demand in America.

Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement,

“Our nation has waited for this opportunity to revisit Roe v. Wade for too many years and now the pro-life community at large is eager to see this unjust ruling overturned. The science is clear and everyone knows that when a woman is pregnant, she has a human child living within her and that child is worthy of protecting. Abortion Free New Mexico is humbled to come together in prayer and to work with local candidates in order to help New Mexico become a place where every child is valued and protected.”

December 1, 2021 is a historic moment for the pro-life movement, one we’ve been working toward for decades.

  • BREAKING: Investigation Reveals Planned Parenthood Hired Unregistered Waste Hauler

BREAKING: Investigation Reveals Planned Parenthood Hired Unregistered Waste Hauler

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, New Mexico– A New Mexico Environment Department investigation prompted by Abortion Free New Mexico reveals multiple violations on the part of the Planned Parenthood surgical center located in Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as the unregistered waste hauler that Planned Parenthood hired to take away aborted babies for disposal.

Abortion Free New Mexico received tips and photos from local sidewalk counselors of an unmarked truck with Texas license plates that comes weekly and takes away red biohazard waste buckets full of dead babies. This prompted Abortion Free New Mexico to file a complaint on March 23, 2021 with the New Mexico Environment Department once it was discovered that it is a violation of NMAC 20.9.5.14 (A)(7) and (8) which requires commercial haulers of infectious waste to:

    (7) conspicuously label all solid waste collection vehicles with the company, municipality, or county department name;

    (8) conspicuously label all solid waste collection vehicles with the environment department registration number.

Tara Shaver- Planned Parent… by Bud Shaver

Results of the New Mexico Environment Department investigation were sent to Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico on October 28, 2021. Planned Parenthood of New Mexico hired Oncore Technology, LLC, which has been an unregistered waste hauler in New Mexico since March 2019.

The manifests that Oncore Technology, LLC utilized when picking up waste from Planned Parenthood had another company’s waste hauler number on them. That company is Biocycle and was, according to Thomas Simons, Operations Manager for Oncore Technology, purchased by Oncore Technology, LLC. However, the company failed to re-register properly with the state of New Mexico Environment Department but continued the grisly business of transporting aborted babies for disposal.

All violations by Oncore Technology LLC include:

    • Failure to renew the commercial hauler registration
    • Misrepresentation of information on special waste manifests
    • Failure to properly complete special waste manifests
    • Failure to properly label vehicles for infectious waste removal

Oncore Technology, LLC, also known as Oncore Health Solutions and Biocycle is located in Grand Prairie, Texas, the state which has most recently banned abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy. The irony is that while Texas women are traveling to New Mexico for abortions, when they go to Planned Parenthood their aborted babies are transported back to Texas to be disposed of as biohazard waste.

    Planned Parenthood In Violation

The New Mexico Environment Department investigation also revealed that Planned Parenthood was in violation of failure to sufficiently complete the generator blocks of the special waste manifests, whereby the Planned Parenthood representative wrote only their first name, Raquel and signed only with the letter “R.”

Report of Investigation- On… by Bud Shaver

Planned Parenthood provided 17 weeks worth of manifests to the New Mexico Environment Department for their investigation. These documents provide insight into how many pounds of biohazard waste, which includes aborted babies, is being disposed of on a weekly basis. On nine of the 17 weeks, three 28 gallon drums per week were taken away for disposal. On the remaining 8 weeks two 28 gallon drums of waste were handed over per week by the nations largest abortion provider. These babies remains are then transported to Grand Prairie, TX for disposal.

In a written letter the New Mexico Environment Department has given Oncore Technology, LLC  10 days (from October 28, 2021) to respond with what action they have taken, or plan to take, to correct the violations. The letter also stated that  “the failure to assure corrective action or continued non-compliance may result in additional enforcement action, which may include the assessment of a civil penalty.” Abortion Free New Mexico plans to contact the company directly to ask them to stop enabling the killing business of Planned Parenthood.

Notice of Violation – Oncor… by Bud Shaver

Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement,

“Abortion providers like Planned Parenthood rely so desperately upon waste disposal companies, that they are willing to employ unregistered haulers in order to keep the bodies from piling up.

Abortion Free New Mexico’s complaint filed with the New Mexico Environment Department revealed multiple violations that give us a glimpse into how both abortion providers and their haulers operate, often without compliance of rules and regulations. Oncore Technology, LLC who is enabling Planned Parenthood surgical center located in Albuquerque, New Mexico has 10 days (from October 28, 2021) to correct multiple violations or face additional enforcement action.

Biohazard Waste Hauling and disposal companies are the weak link of the abortion industry which is why Abortion Free New Mexico launched Project Weak Link New Mexico with Created Equal several months ago. These companies make it possible for Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers to kill innocent unborn babies and then inhumanely discard of their bodies as biohazard waste.”

Note: The Planned Parenthood in Albuquerque is affiliated with Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.

Update: More Candidates Sign Abortion Free New Mexico’s Pro-Life Pledge

    By Bud Shaver,

Albuquerque, New Mexico- This years National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, held at the only location in New Mexico where aborted babies are buried featured excellent speakers, was well attended by over 50 people and concluded with the announcement of several local Albuquerque candidates (featured below) who signed Abortion Free New Mexico’s Pro-Life Pledge. Abortion Free New Mexico has worked with Fr. Stephen Imbarrato of Life Ministries U.S., to make this site a place of healing for post abortive women and those who have suffered miscarriages. Several memorial headstones have been placed in honor of these babies at the Sandia Memory Gardens. Contact Abortion Free New Mexico if you or someone you know would like to have their babies name placed on a memorial headstone.

Photos (below) from the event were featured in a front page, Sunday edition, article by the Santa Fe New Mexican, who had previously interviewed Tara about the recent Texas abortion ban and its impact on New Mexico.

    Excerpt from the article,

New Mexico does not have some of the abortion restrictions — such as mandated parental approval for minors or a waiting period — that many other states have.

Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for the anti-abortion organization Abortion Free New Mexico, said she thinks less stringent laws help make New Mexico “the Wild West when it comes to abortion.”

The lack of restrictions “lends our state to being the ‘go to’ place for abortion, especially for women in the surrounding states who are beyond the stage where they can get the procedure in their home state,” she said.

    Laws protect people, Shaver said.

“Even if we don’t agree with them, they do serve a purpose,” she said. “It’s not in a woman’s best interest to be encouraged to circumvent her own state’s law to go elsewhere to get a procedure done, to kill a child.”

She said her organization does not judge women who choose to have an abortion but works to provide them with support and resources to get them to reconsider that decision.

  • Staggering Increase Of Vaccine Injuries Including Death, Birth Defects And Spontaneous Abortions

Staggering Increase Of Vaccine Injuries Including Death, Birth Defects And Spontaneous Abortions

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, New Mexico- COVID-19 vaccine injury data from Dec. 14, 2020 to June 25, 2021, shows an alarming total of 411,931 potential adverse events that have been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting SystemVAERS. 6,985 of these are documented deaths linked to the COVID-19 vaccines. Overall, there continues to be a staggering increase of vaccine injuries including death, birth defects and spontaneous abortions.

    • This is a 655.14% increase of confirmed deaths related to the experimental COVID injections from when Abortion Free New Mexico began tracking the adverse vaccine events in March of this year!

In the most recent interview with a whistleblower who currently sits on a COVID-19 task-force and is a highly credentialed PhD nano-scientist, the main difference between the COVID- 19 injections from traditional vaccines, is that these new experimental nanotech injections trick the body’s cells into encoding the COVID viral spike protein upon all of our own cell surfaces, which is very different from how traditional vaccines work. Traditional vaccines instead, introduce a little of the actual virus into your body so that it will trigger an immune response to the virus.

Across the board health experts are attributing this new and different technology to the various adverse reactions the vaccinated are experiencing such as blood clots, heart issues, miscarriages and ultimately death.

2,160% Increase in Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes

Abortion Free New Mexico has been sounding the alarm about these COVID-19 injections because of the dangers posed primarily to pregnant women. None of the COVID-19 “vaccines” have yet been approved or licensed by the FDA, which is why they are considered experimental. In addition, pregnant women were not enrolled in any of the initial emergency vaccine efficacy trials, indicating no knowledge of the effects on pregnant women and their babies in the womb.

The most recent data from the CDC reveals that from March 2021 to June 25, 2021 there has been a shocking 2,160% increase in adverse pregnancy outcomes (including preterm births, miscarriages, and spontaneous abortions) and a 720% increase in birth defects reported VAERS!

In her initial interview on The Mark Harrington Show Abortion Free New Mexico’s whistleblower, who specializes in the field of nano-science, explained how nanoparticles play a major role in the Pfizer and Moderna injections relating to infertility as well as their ability to cause a woman’s immune system to attack her unborn child in the womb.

    She stated that,

“A nanoparticle is a very very small material it’s on the order of a billionth of a meter in diameter so it’s very very small. It can enter cells indiscriminately. Unlike a virus that uses a sort of lock and key mechanism to enter only certain cells these nanoparticles can enter every cell type.

What these nanoparticles do is they cause your cells to produce the covid viral spike and they have what is called an anchor protein, which means that spike is going to be present on the surface of all your cells; your immune system is going to go attack all of those cells that look like a covid virus. So if your neurons are expressing that spike, what’s to stop your immune system from attacking them? If your sperm or egg cells are expressing that spike, why wouldn’t the immune system attack them?

One of the pregnancy outcomes that we saw, it was very similar to when an rh-negative mother has a rh-positive baby and her immune system attacks that baby, it looked very similar to some kind of manifestation like that, where her immune system was actually attacking the baby. And there is no reason to believe that, that’s not going to happen because we know that these nano particles go all over the body and it’s very likely that they are going to cross the placenta.”

Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement,

“It is incredibly alarming to see the increasing number of fatalities, birth defects and spontaneous abortions attributed to these experimental injections. In the past these types of adverse events would have warranted a pharmaceutical product to be withheld from the public but that is not the case here and the American public should be asking, ‘Why?’ Taking these injections can’t be undone so it is more important than ever to educate yourself and those around you about how these injections work and how dangerous they are.”

Albuquerque, NM- This #GivingTuesday prayerfully consider supporting our pro-life missionary family, by doing so you become fellow workers with us in the, “late-term abortion capital of the world“, helping to make New Mexico Abortion Free.

“Bud and Tara Shaver are full time Pro-Life Missionaries serving in Albuquerque, NM Since 2010. Over the past 8 years they have been dedicated in their work to see an end to abortion in New Mexico. Their pro-life ministry began in Flagstaff, AZ and they have since worked alongside several leading pro-life organizations across the nation. They are a homeschool family with four children Tirzah (8), Eden (6), Moriah (4) and Azariah (one month old).”

OUR MINISTRY EFFORTS IN THE NEWS THIS MONTH:

On November 3rd, the Santa Fe New Mexican published an article titled, “Abortion-seekers find support in New Mexico interfaith group”. This article was meant to highlight the efforts of “religious” pro-abortion groups that help women kill their babies in New Mexico. It stated in part:

“The Shavers have made campaigning against abortion their life’s work. Albuquerque, they often say, is “the late-term abortion capital of the world,” “Tara Shaver said she finds the religious coalition’s pro-faith, pro-abortion rights agenda “ironic.”  “They support the killing of babies, and they’re helping women to kill their babies,” she said. “Being religious doesn’t buffer that at all.”

In this article, it was very troubling that the pro-aborts admit and even revel in the dark reputation that New Mexico has in a statement issued by abortion advocate, Sandra Penn, when she states,

“I know that in some circles [New Mexico is] considered the worst place in hell for Americans, or something like that,” Penn said. “… But we’ve got to be damn proud that this is a place that women can look to, and where women feel safe.”

On Wednesday November 21, 2018 Church Militant, published an article titled, “NEW MEXICO PRO-ABORTS BRACING FOR ROE REPEAL”

Abortion Free New Mexico leader Bud Shaver, in a statement to Church Militant, said about the situation in the state, “Abortion is legal and being performed up to the the day of birth in New Mexico and New Mexico medicaid pays for it 100 percent.”Shaver continued: “We hope Catholic leadership will directly reach out to Catholic legislators and ask them not to support this radical leftist agenda. Unfortunately, in the past, Catholic Democrats have put allegiance to their party over their faith and voted against pro-life legislation, which is cause for concern as we anticipate the upcoming legislative session in New Mexico.”

On Friday November, 23 2018 One News Now, published an article titled, “NM Dems aim to demolish pro-life law”

Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico tells One News Now it would be a strong law — if it was enforced in a state already known for allowing late-term abortions. Parts of the measure that are enforceable include a requirement that only a physician perform an abortion, and a woman must give her full consent before her child can be terminated. Shaver says liberal Democrats who now dominate the legislature want to repeal the law, but she warns those legislators are failing to think through this plan to overturn it. “They’re really taking choices away from women,” she says, “and they’re putting women in vulnerable situations that we think that they should be protected from.” New Mexico pro-lifers are asking their lawmakers in both houses to oppose repeal of the 1969, and Shaver asks people in other states to keep New Mexico in prayer.

  • ABORTION EXTREMISTS TARGET NEW MEXICO CRIMINAL ABORTION STATUTE

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- New Mexico law actually criminalizes the practice of late term abortions that are performed outside of accredited hospitals. However, this law is not being enforced, leaving women to suffer at the hands of unregulated abortionists.

    • The Criminal Abortion Statute [NMSA 1978 §30-5-3(C)] was passed in 1969 by the New Mexico legislature [pre ROE vs. WADE era] but was enjoined by a judge from being enforced.

    This week KOB 4 reported:

“SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) – Democrats in the New Mexico Legislature are laying plans to end a decades-old ban on abortion that came before the landmark Supreme Court case.

State Rep. Joanne Ferrary of Las Cruces said last week that removes the state’s criminal ban on abortion in case the U.S. Supreme Court overturns a 1973 decision that made the procedure legal nationwide.

She says her cause has taken on new urgency with the addition of Republican-appointed justices under President Donald Trump.

A 1960s-era New Mexico’s law makes it a felony for an abortion provider to terminate a pregnancy, with exceptions for rape, birth defects and serious threats to a woman’s health.
The revived proposal has the public support of Democratic Gov.-elect Michelle Lujan Grisham.”

Members of Abortion Free New Mexico pursued enforcement of this law by meeting with various public officials over the past 8 years including in 2013 with then District Attorney Kari Brandenburg. The corruption and incompetence in New Mexico, however, knows no bounds.

What pro-abortion democrats are failing to mention is that the criminal abortion statute also prohibits non physicians from performing surgical abortions. Unfortunately, New Mexico officials have failed to enforce this provision. In 2016, Tara Shaver, of Abortion Free New Mexico, filed a complaintwith the New Mexico Board of Nursing against Planned Parenthood’s abortionist Vivianne Clark. Clark, a Registered Nurse, was reimbursed by New Mexico medicaid for performing abortions from 17-24 weeks of pregnancy. This violation is a fourth degree felony.

The New Mexico Board of Nursing dismissed the complaint this spring without any action.

So apparently the only portion of the criminal abortion statute that is being enforced,

“requires that an abortion be performed only with the woman’s consent.”

This provision would be removed if the criminal abortion statute is repealed leaving women vulnerable to abortions being performed without their consent.

“In their anticipation of the Supreme Court overturning Roe vs. Wade the radical leftist democrats in New Mexico are not wasting any time to push their extremist agenda that would remove common sense measures that were enacted to protect women’s bodily autonomy.  Ironically, if they accomplish their stated goal and repeal the criminal abortion statute before Roe vs. Wade is overturned non physicians will be able to perform invasive surgical procedures on women without their consent. Is governor elect Michelle Lujan Grisham really willing to put her signature on a bill that would leave women vulnerable to involuntary abortions being performed on them against their will?” stated Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico.

    Take Action

Abortion Free New Mexico is encouraging New Mexicans to contact their legislator and respectfully ask them to oppose the repeal of the criminal abortion statute.

  • CONFLICT OF INTEREST?!

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- Alex Curtas who worked as “Communications Director” for the RADICAL LEFTIST group Progress Now New Mexico IS NOW THE “Communications Director” for the Office of the New Mexico Secretary of State and is giving statements about an ongoing investigation…

    (Wait for it)

REGARDING ELECTION FRAUD IN NEW MEXICO!!!

“New Mexico Secretary of State spokesman Alex Curtas said Friday the office is scheduled to certify results by Nov. 27 that will show, according to unofficial results, Torres Small defeating Republican Yvette Herrell.”

Oh yeah, New Mexicans should have real confidence that no shenanigans are going on…

It’s not the Russians that are influencing, giving public statements regarding an ongoing election fraud investigation and who’ve already been blocked by the New Mexico Supreme Court for attempting to rig our election. In New Mexico, apparently it is the RADICAL LEFTIST DEMOCRATS in the Office of the New Mexico Secretary of State. Every New Mexican voter, regardless of political ideology, should be concerned whenever an EXTREME political bias has been exposed as running rampant throughout the very office that is supposed to safeguard free and fair elections in New Mexico,” stated Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico.

    FLASHBACK:

    ACCORDING TO THE GATEWAY PUNDIT:

More shady politics in New Mexico.

The Dona Ana Republican Party issued the following statement regarding Yvette Herrell’s lawsuit alleging potential voter fraud in New Mexico,

“The Lawsuit has been filed and now is the time to contact our office with any irregularities you witnessed while voting or while trying to vote.

We need to go through the procedure of recording more Voter Incident Reports. (575) 523-8683”

  • MONEY BUYS ELECTIONS AND THE ABORTION CARTEL INVESTED HEAVILY IN NEW MEXICO

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- In New Mexico an unfortunate reality is that the majority of voters are registered democrats, and instead of looking at the candidates positions, most of these constituents voted their party line. Democrat candidates were also funded heavily by the New Mexico abortion cartel by local abortionists, University of New Mexico staff and Planned Parenthood political action committees in New Mexico and from out of state. This combination of circumstances in addition to the current republican governor’s lack of approval made it a difficult obstacle for Republicans to overcome throughout this 2018 midterm election cycle.

The chairman of the New Mexico republican party told the Albuquerque Journal,

“Our candidates, as well as an army of faithful volunteers throughout the state, fought hard to advance Republican principles and beat the odds.”

However, as the saying goes, “money buys elections” and in New Mexico, it was the abortion industry that was doing the spending!

Planned Parenthood, alone, spent over $300,000 dollars to democrat candidates in the 2018 state election through their PAC Planned Parenthood Votes New Mexico/ Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

$105,735 of which was given exclusively to Michelle Lujan Grisham, the democrat candidate for Governor, for mailers, radio spots, and various other get out the vote efforts for her campaign. Altogether Planned Parenthood, including Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains CEO Vicki Cowart, Planned Parenthood lobbyist Julianna Koob and their political action funds located in Washington D.C. and New York contributed over $151,485 to buy New Mexico’s next governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.

    In addition to Planned Parenthood…

    • UNM Health Sciences Chancellor Paul Roth, UNM abortionists Eve Espey, Tony Ogburn and Larry Leeman.
    • Late term abortionist Curtis Boyd and his wife Glenna Boyd as well as Southwestern Women’s Options other abortionists Shannon Carr and Carmen Landau.
    • Joan Lamunyon Sanford, the executive director of the New Mexico Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
    • Even GEORGE SOROS

ABORTION EXTREMISTS funded Michelle Lujan Grisham’s campaign:

UNM abortionists/UNM Health Sciences Chancellor contributions to Michelle Lujan Grisham for governor totaled: $9,825

Southwestern Women’s Options Abortionists spent $5,925 for Michelle Lujan Grisham to become governor:

George Soros contributed $11,000 towards Michelle Lujan Grisham’s campaign:

All of these people and organizations have one thing in common, they are RADICAL ABORTION EXTREMISTS, and now they have not only gained control of both legislative chambers in New Mexico but also the governor’s office. The democrats in New Mexico have free reign to push whatever agenda they wish.

ALREADY we are seeing the FIRST CASUALTY of the democrat controlled majority in New Mexico: Yvette Herrell who ran for a U.S. House seat, in a conservative leaning county, is apparently having her election results STOLEN from her in congressional district 2.

    According to the Gateway Pundit:

”More shady politics in New Mexico.”

So much for free and fair elections in New Mexico…

“It is clear that New Mexico’s new governor, Michelle Lujan Grisham, is bought and paid for by the New Mexico abortion cartel to ensure that their business of killing babies up to the day of birth continues unabated. While they have won this battle, we are determined to win the war. All the money in the world doesn’t buy the moral high ground and we still maintain that territory in New Mexico. While New Mexico democrats are willing to steal, kill, and destroy New Mexico’s future for their lust of power, we are fighting for the lives of pre-born children and a better future for all New Mexicans,” stated Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico.

While the New Mexico abortion cartel believes that their money and control can dominate New Mexico politically, the lives of pre-born children remain in jeopardy and it’s our mission to continue moving forward to ensure that every life in New Mexico is valued and protected.

  • NEW MEXICO: “THE WORST PLACE IN HELL FOR AMERICANS” [BABIES]

NEW MEXICO: “THE WORST PLACE IN HELL FOR AMERICANS” [BABIES]

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- As the dust clears after a hard fought political battle in New Mexico, we must pick ourselves up and continue to move forward. We are thankful to Congressman Steve Pearce, Michelle Garcia Holmes and all of the republican candidates, for laying it all on the line and remaining faithful to their vision for New Mexico!

Unfortunately, the radically progressive democrats have gained control of the Governor’s Office and both legislative chambers in New Mexico giving them free reign to push whatever agenda they wish. They have already stated their desire to remove the ONLY pro-life statute on the books in New Mexico:

    • The Criminal Abortion Statute [NMSA 1978 §30-5-3(C)] was passed by the New Mexico legislature [pre ROE vs. WADE in 1969] but was enjoined by a judge from being enforced.

Even though the heart of the statute, preventing late-term abortions from being performed outside of an accredited hospital, is not currently being enforced, some provisions are.

It is our prayer that from now until the next election cycle that more churches and political leaders will rise up to be more energized and bold in defense of life. We are eager to continue working with churches to see godly leaders rise up. Only then will we see an end to abortion in our state.

Tara was interviewed for an article that was published on November 3rd in The Santa Fe New Mexican, which documents what we’ve been saying since 2010 about the booming business of late term abortions under Curtis Boyd, making New Mexico the Late-Term Abortion Capital of the WORLD.

“The Shavers have made campaigning against abortion their life’s work. Albuquerque, they often say, is “the late-term abortion capital of the world.”

Women are evading their own state’s abortion restrictions by coming to New Mexico to kill their babies and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC) is highlighted as making it possible.

Tara commented on the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice’s demonic work when she stated,

“she finds the religious coalition’s pro-faith, pro-abortion rights agenda “ironic.” “They support the killing of babies, and they’re helping women to kill their babies,” she said. “Being religious doesn’t buffer that at all.”

The abortion industry is constantly trying to remove the stigma that surrounds their practice of killing babies, but it will never happen, and by hiding behind fake religion only makes them seem desperate.

According to the article the percentage of abortions obtained by out of state women has increased along with the numbers of women seeking assistance from the RCRC.

    • 6 percent: New Mexico abortions procured by out-of-state women in 2010
    • 26 percent: New Mexico abortions procured by out-of-state women in 2016
    • 10: Number of women served by New Mexico Religious Coalition for Reproductive Rights in 2008
    • 105: Number of women served by the group in 2017

Sources: New Mexico Department of Health and New Mexico Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC)

It’s also very troubling that the pro-aborts even admit and revel in the dark reputation that New Mexico has in a statement by abortion advocate, Sandra Penn, when she states,

“I know that in some circles [New Mexico is] considered the worst place in hell for Americans, or something like that,” Penn said. “… But we’ve got to be damn proud that this is a place that women can look to, and where women feel safe.”

Of our ministry the article explains that in the past,

“On any given day, and especially on days when abortions are performed, protesters gather outside Boyd’s clinic. For years, Albuquerque missionaries Bud and Tara Shaver led the protests.”

    • We have now placed our primary focus on working to close the last 5 remaining abortion facilities in the state.

There is still much to be done but we need your help. Your prayers and support are vital and we can’t continue on without your support.

    • Please keep New Mexico in your prayers and consider setting up a monthly tax deductible donation or a one-time year end gift to ensure that we can continue to be a voice in a blue state with the opposition TO LIFE likely to increase.

  • WEEK 5- PRAYER & FASTING FOCUS: FOR AN END TO ABORTION IN NEW MEXICO

WEEK 5- PRAYER & FASTING FOCUS: FOR AN END TO ABORTION IN NEW MEXICO

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- This is the final week of prayer and fasting on behalf of New Mexico, for a complete and total end to abortion and for the upcoming election. Thank you to everyone who has joined us in this spiritual discipline believing that the Lord hears our prayers and will act according to His will. Let’s all finish strong this week united together as the body of Christ.

This week’s prayer focus comes from Matthew 17: 14-21, and are the very words of Jesus to his disciples when they faced strongholds that seemed to big for them. Jesus reminded them that with faith nothing was too big to overcome and encouraged them that with some demonic strongholds, they needed to combine their faith with action and in this case, specifically the spiritual discipline of fasting. As we wrap up 5 weeks of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion we are trusting the words of Jesus that this “mountain” in New Mexico can be removed from our midst.

This prayer campaign culminates with the upcoming election on Tuesday, November 6th. It is our prayer that the result of this election will be the appointment of bold leaders who have committed to ending late term abortion in New Mexico and close the abortion clinics “with force if necessary.” To accomplish this, we must combine our faith, that God can end abortion in New Mexico, with action and specifically our vote for pro-life leaders next week. Our prayer is that this combination of faith and action will bring an end to abortion in New Mexico!

BIBLE VERSE FOR REFLECTION THIS WEEK:

“And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17: 14-21)

    Prayer points this week:

    • For God’s people to rise to the occasion and vote for life between now and election day.
    • For God’s will to be accomplished in New Mexico.
    • For Godly leaders to be appointed on November 6th.
    • For the closure of New Mexico’s fiveremaining abortion facilities.

    • We encourage you to help get your friends and family out to the polls from now until election day November 6th to VOTE PRO-LIFE

Abortion Free New Mexico has been asked to join in weekly prayer and fasting on Wednesdays during the month of October leading up to election day on November 6, 2018specifically for the upcoming election and for an end to abortion in New Mexico. We invite those in the body of Christ who are able to, to join us in this spiritual discipline.

    • This is a united effort between both Non-Catholic and Catholic Christians who are committed to ending abortion in New Mexico.

Fasting can be done in many ways.

    • Some may choose to fast from sunrise to sunset.
    • Others may choose to fast from 6:00am-3:00pm as a partial fast.
    • For others, a fast might be one full meal for the day, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal.

The upcoming election is NEXT WEEK and in New Mexico it will absolutely determine whether or not the Land of Enchantment elects leaders who will stand for justice and righteousness or corruption and bedlam.

SIX PRO-LIFE BILLBOARDS NOW UP ACROSS ALBUQUERQUE

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- Life Ministries U.S. is proud to announce the debut of the second “Vote Pro-Life” billboard design featured in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Five new billboards just went up all across Albuquerque bringing the total to SIX pro-life billboards with a “Vote Pro-Life”/ “Vote Your Values” message in the last two weeks leading up to the election on November 6th. The new billboard features local babies, a shocking statistic from the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and a New Mexican theme that will resonate with voters.

“The voters of New Mexico have the chance to change the direction of our state on November 6th. Unrestricted abortion up to the day of birth has cast a darkness over this state, but our votes matter and can save babies lives and restore New Mexico’s reputation. According to a report by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in 2014, New Mexico leads the nation in the number of late term abortions by percentage of total abortions performed. In other words, late term abortions represent 7.9% of all abortions performed in New Mexico. In comparison according to the CDC report, New York performs the most abortions but only 2.3% of those abortions are late term.

Our prayer is that this billboard penetrates hearts and impresses upon those who see it to vote their values on November 6th. We thank everyone who has contributed to this project and made it possible,” stated Tara Shaver.

WEEK 4- PRAYER & FASTING FOCUS: SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO PRO-LIFE LEGISLATIVE SUMMIT

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- This week as we come together to pray and fast on behalf of New Mexico, for a complete and total end to abortion and for the upcoming election, let us be mindful of the new thing that God wants to do here. This week’s prayer focus comes from Isaiah 43:19, and is prophetic when we consider the crossroads that New Mexico is facing. The Lord can make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert and we believe that He has given us the chance to see it coming. The question becomes will His people rise to the occasion? Standing together sacrificially this week, may the Lord see our hearts and hear our pleas for the babies and for the change that we hope to see come in New Mexico.

On Sunday, October 28th there will be a Southern New Mexico Pro-Life Legislative Summit. This Summit has covered the entire state, so please add it to your prayer list this week, that it will be a success. Below is an invitation, please share with others in the Southern New Mexico area.

BIBLE VERSE FOR REFLECTION THIS WEEK:

WEEK 3- PRAYER & FASTING FOCUS: GET OUT THE PRO-LIFE VOTE

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- Join us this week in prayer and fasting for the upcoming election and an end to abortion in New Mexico. This week’s prayer focus is that the pro-life Christian community in New Mexico will rise up and use their vote on election day to appoint godly leaders that have committed to protect the lives of the unborn. As the verse below states, “Support those who do good and stop those who do evil, the Lord always condemns evil,” and so should we. So on this third week of standing together for life through prayer and fasting, see the prayer points below and join us at the site of the first “Vote Pro-Life” billboard in Albuquerque on Wednesday, October 17th at 10:00am.

BIBLE VERSE FOR REFLECTION THIS WEEK:

Stop those who do evil.  Support those who do good. God, you are fair. You know what people are thinking. God helps people who want to do right, so he will protect me. God is a good judge. He always condemns evil. (Psalm 7: 9-11)

    Statements Issued about Pro-Life Billboard:

Michelle Garcia Holmes who is running for Lt. Governor (R) issued the following statement for the press,

“It is a blessing to see people from the faith community unite and stand up against the horrible act of late-term termination of babies in the state of New Mexico, 43 other states have a ban on this agregious act and so should New Mexico. Life is precious, these are children who deserve a chance to be born. The answer is very clear, red, green or life? Choose life New Mexico!”

Michael Hendricks who is running for New Mexico Attorney General (R) is speaking at the press conference and he issued the following statement,

“A government that condones, supports, and legislates the legalized killing of babies in the womb, shows that it does not place value on life. Why would the same government that does not value the lives of the unborn value the lives of the born? The answer is: they don’t. New Mexico is ridden with crime and born children being murdered due to the incompetence of failed systems. Addicts and mentally ill being thrown into jail without the systems addressing their real root cause problems. Pervasive homelessness without a system or community that steps up to help. It is all an issue of the heart. We must take a hard look inward and realign our values with what is Right; only then will we see a healing in our state.”

Tara Shaver, Life Ministries U.S. and Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following:

“The voters of New Mexico have the chance to change the direction of our state on November 6th. Unrestricted abortion up to the day of birth has cast a darkness over this state, but our votes matter and can save babies lives and restore New Mexico’s reputation. New Mexicans hold to traditions that include a love of family, pride in this great state, and being known internationally for our green and red chile. Our prayer is that this billboard penetrates hearts and impresses upon those who see it to vote pro-life on November 6th. We thank everyone who has contributed to this project and made it possible.”

Here is the pro-life billboard revealed this week!

Michael E. Hendricks For New Mexico Attorney General

“He said he would also target late-term abortions in New Mexico. State law, he said, requires that those abortions happen at an accredited hospital, not at a Downtown Albuquerque abortion clinic.

‘It’s not a political issue,’ Hendricks said. ‘It’s a legal issue.’

Hendricks, as the son of Baptist missionaries, spent much of childhood in Mexico. He speaks Spanish and has served as the consulting attorney for the Mexican Consulate in New Mexico.

Hendricks, 36, said he would bring strong leadership skills to a job that involves overseeing 200 employees.

‘I don’t lead by telling people; I lead by example,’ he said.”

  • NEW MEXICO IS IN A BATTLE UNLIKE EVER BEFORE

NEW MEXICO IS IN A BATTLE UNLIKE EVER BEFORE

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- At this very moment New Mexico is in a battle unlike ever before. The lives of pre-born babies hang in the balance as the November 6th election approaches and voters, people like you and me, will elect the next Governor and fill other Congressional and state seats. Liberal pro-abortionists are organized and they are motivated because their ability to willfully kill pre-born children for any reason up to the day of birth is on the edge of being revoked.

We know, as Christians, that God is stronger and more mighty than the demonic forces that have New Mexico bound in chains. It is, however, our duty to lift up prayers of supplication mixed with fasting to ask the Lord to act on our behalf and according to His will to break those chains.

“I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” JESUS (Matthew 17: 14-21)

Abortion Free New Mexico will be joining with other pro-lifers to fast and pray every Wednesday in October for an end to late term abortion in New Mexico and for the upcoming election. We invite and encourage you to join us and others as we wage war not according to the flesh but according to the holy spirit that dwells within every believer in Jesus Christ.

During our last combined prayer campaign we specifically asked the Lord to break demonic strongholds in New Mexico. We saw breakthrough, but what is unseen is far greater. Please make every effort to join us for 5 weeks of prayer and fasting beginning on Wednesday, October 3rd.

    Prayer and Fasting Schedule:

    • Week 1: October 3rd
    • Week 2: October 10th
    • Week 3: October 17th
    • Week 4: October 24th
    • Week 5: October 31st
Putting your faith into action this weekend

The republican candidates on the ballot in New Mexico, down the ticket, are as solid as it gets! We have strong pro-life Christian candidates that are simply responding to the call to stand up and fight for the values that we hold so dear.

They can’t get elected without your help though…

“WITH FORCE IF NECESSARY” REPUBLICAN ATTORNEY GENERAL CANDIDATE VOWS TO CLOSE NEW MEXICO ABORTION CLINICS

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- The upcoming New Mexico election is less than 50 days away and will absolutely determine whether or not the Land of Enchantment elects leaders who will stand for justice and righteousness or corruption and bedlam.

Michael Hendricks, the republican candidate for New Mexico Attorney General, has laid out his priorities for his first 100 days in office and at the top of his list is ENDING LATE TERM ABORTION AND CLOSING NEW MEXICO ABORTION CLINICS!

When elected he will replace the current pro-abortion Catholic Democrat, Hector Balderas who has pandered to the New Mexico abortion cartel over his faith and his duty to protect the most vulnerable citizens of New Mexico.

As a missionary family, we have sought to simply hold candidates accountable over the years, both Republicans and Democrats. Now we are compelled to stand with the candidates whom we believe the Lord has called to serve as leaders in New Mexico.

The republican candidates on the ballot in New Mexico, down the ticket, are as solid as it gets! We have strong pro-life Christian candidates that are simply responding to the call to stand up and fight for the values that we hold so dear.

HIS GOALS ARE OUR GOALS AND WE ARE COMMITTED TO HELP HIM ACCOMPLISH THEM…

Abortion Free New Mexico is proud to endorse Michael Hendricks for Attorney General of New Mexico.

“We are confident that Michael Hendricks will enforce the laws of New Mexico as written with the intended purpose of protecting all New Mexicans and not interpret them according to his own political agenda.

This is the type of leadership that New Mexico desperately needs. With several crises facing our state we need an Attorney General that will put the people, their safety and the values New Mexicans hold so dear as a top priority.

We look forward to working with Micheal Hendricks as Attorney General of New Mexico to make sure that every life is valued and protected,” stated Tara Shaver spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico.

  • UNM REFUSES BURIAL OF ABORTED BABIES USED IN THEIR EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH PROGRAM

UNM REFUSES BURIAL OF ABORTED BABIES USED IN THEIR EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH PROGRAM

    By Bud Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- Earlier this month Abortion Free New Mexico made a formal request to the University of New Mexico (UNM) Chancellor for Health Sciences, Paul Roth asking him to transfer 72 aborted baby remains harvested for their recently terminated experimental research program, to a local mortuary, so that they may receive a proper burial. In a letter dated August 31, 2018 addressed to Tara Shaver, Roth denied the request for their burial and has refused to treat these babies with the dignity and respect they deserve.

For years, the University of New Mexico has been acquiring harvested aborted babies solely from the notorious late term abortion facility, Southwestern Women’s Options, located in Albuquerque, NM. Since the exposure generated by the release of the Center for Medical Progress videos followed by subsequent complaints filed by Shaver that generated referrals from the U.S. Congress, UNM has had to come clean about their use of these babies for experimental research. Most recently the University has halted it’s program, presumably to prevent legal action from the federal government due to the possible illegality of their program using aborted babies. The University of New Mexico, however, still has 72 baby remains that they are unsure what to do with.

Roth’s refusal letter indicates that the mothers of these 72 aborted babies “proactively chose” to donate their remains to be used for medical research, but according to consent forms obtained by Tara Shaver in 2012 and 2015, the women did not “proactively” choose, but were obligated by the nature of the “consent” form to donate the aborted baby’s remains in order to obtain their abortions. This lack of informed consent was the basis for Shaver’s formal complaint to Attorney General Hector Balderas in July 2015.

Roth states his refusal to allow the babies to be buried by Abortion Free New Mexico because they were explicitly intended for experimental research, does this mean that the University of New Mexico will continue their nefarious research at a future date?

Paul Roth’s decision to deny burial to these 72 aborted babies further promotes a culture of death in New Mexico. We are not talking about medical specimens or tissue, but human beings with inherent value, who deserve to be treated with dignity. These babies were harvested for experimental research not by the choice of their mothers, but by obligation from the Southwestern Women’s Options consent form. Denial of a proper burial demonstrates the callous disregard for human life that still remains at UNM that the pro-life community must continue to oppose.

“Abortion Free New Mexico will be hosting the annual National Day of Remembrance for aborted children on Saturday, September 8th at 10:00am. We encourage all people of faith and conscience to attend this memorial to affirm the lives of aborted children who each day are discarded from their mother’s wombs as biohazard waste or used for experimental medical research. We have the opportunity this Saturday to stand in solidarity with the defenseless victims of abortion whose lives we value and to promote a culture that affirms life. By doing so we acknowledge and affirm that every baby is created in the image of God,” stated Tara Shaver spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico.

We hope that you will be able to join us for the memorial service taking place in our community as part of the the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children:

In the Sermon on the Mount, our Lord promised us: “Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

On September 8th, we seek that divine comfort as we mourn for the victims of abortion. Let us never forget their precious lives as we continue to work and pray for an end to abortion.

“Thank you to everyone who came to the prayer vigil outside of Paul Roth’s office on Monday. Roth is still undecided about what to do with the 72 aborted baby remains in UNM’s possession. His office eagerly let us know that he is aware of our request and we are working to schedule a meeting with him. Please keep praying.”

PRAYER VIGIL AT UNM: Allow Us To Honor The Lives Of Those Used For Research

Albuquerque, NM- Abortion Free New Mexico and Mercy Missions will host a prayer vigil on Monday, August 20th at the University of New Mexico (UNM). This vigil is being held as a follow-up to Abortion Free New Mexico’s formal request to Paul Roth, Chancellor for Health Sciences to allow the ministry to bury 72 aborted baby remains that were harvested for medical experimentation from Southwestern Women’s Options.

Clergy and members of the faith community will gather to pray and urge UNM leadership to allow these babies to be buried with dignity and respect instead of being destroyed as biohazard waste.

    VIGIL DETAILS:
    • DATE: AUGUST 20, 2018
    • TIME: 9:00-10:00AM
    • LOCATION: UNM HEALTH SCIENCES & SERVICES BUILDING
    • Use Street parking near: 2500 Marble Ave. 87106

“These 72 babies are human beings and are worthy of a proper burial. Abortion Free New Mexico has arranged that a local mortuary accept their remains so that a service may be held as they are laid to rest. In light of UNM halting it’s fetal research program, the burial of these babies by the local pro-life community will bring closure as we move forward in building a culture of life in New Mexico,” stated Tara Shaver.

“Catholic Christians must not be silent on this attack against the dignity of the human person because we are explicitly called to perform the Corporal Work of Mercy of “burying the dead”.  And so Mercy Missions founder, Lauren Handy, demands the immediate surrender of all UNM fetal experimentation victims. Each child has the right to a proper burial. This will restore the dignity that was stolen from them at their murder and then further compounded during Robin Ohls’ immoral experimentation. UNM has an opportunity to do what is just and our hope is that Paul Roth, Chancellor for Health Sciences will allow them to receive a proper burial.”

“Our family attended a fundraiser for Janice Arnold-Jones who is running for Congress (District 1) to represent New Mexicans in the U.S. House of Representatives. She shared with us that this year’s lineup of candidates is like no other that New Mexico has seen before. She assured those in attendance of her pro-life position and belief that life begins at conception. She also has practical strategies to enact common sense measures including supporting a late term abortion ban at 20 weeks of pregnancy.” Tara Shaver, Abortion Free New Mexico
