    “Carhart has a sordid history of bouncing from state to state, performing abortions into the latest stages of pregnancy. This notorious circuit riding abortionist’s opportunistic manipulation of the varying late-term abortion laws nationwide, resulted in the tragic death of Jennifer Morbelli in Maryland in February 2013, due to complications sustained during a third-trimester abortion at 33 weeks. The abortionist had already left Maryland to return to Nebraska when Mrs. Morbelli went into distress. Her family had to take her a local emergency room, where she died.

    “Carhart’s careless and deadly behavior is the result of inconsistent laws between the states and demonstrates how vitally urgent it is for the Senate to pass the Pain- Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, scheduled for a vote next week. This bill will protect babies at 20 weeks of development and beyond and will make it impossible for abortionists like Carhart to kill babies in the late second trimester and third trimesters of pregnancy.”

But since the abortion business exists to make money, she does ultimately tell Tara what she wants to know: Abortion is an elective procedure for healthy babies of healthy mothers.

    “We agree with President Donald J. Trump’s assertion in his historic speech to the March for Life on Jan. 19. The president said: ‘As you all know, Roe versus Wade has resulted in some of the most permissive abortion laws anywhere in the world. For example, in the United States, it’s one of only seven countries to allow elective late-term abortions along with China, North Korea and others… It is wrong. It has to change.’

In her call to Little Rock Family Planning Services, pro-life activist Tara Shaver learns that abortion is legal for healthy moms of healthy babies until 21 weeks.

    When asked if there are any laws against aborting a healthy baby so late in pregnancy, a staffer named Heather responds: “It’s up to you. That’s your choice. It’s your body, it’s your choice.” Heather also quotes prices: $1,750 for 20 weeks, $2,000 at 21 weeks.

    In a statement released with the call, Bud and Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico and Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life said:

    “Even though Arkansas is considered to be a very pro-life state, in this 29th undercover recording, late-term abortions on healthy mothers carrying healthy babies are business as usual. This has been revealed to be the case time and time again all across America.

    Despite claims that late-term abortions are rare and only done in extreme cases, this investigation has conclusively established that late-term abortions are primarily elective procedures. Pre-born babies are being exterminated every single day, brutally ripped out of the sanctuary of their mothers’ wombs. This cannot be ignored by our leaders any longer; please speak up for these babies by contacting your Senators and urging them to vote for the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.”

    “Arizona is another state in the long list of places across America where late-term abortions are a common occurrence. In this undercover call to Desert Star Family Planning, the caller makes sure that she can have an abortion at 22 weeks of pregnancy even though she is healthy and there are no abnormalities with the baby. She is told the clinic does elective abortions through 23 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.

    “DeShawn Taylor, the abortionist at Desert Star Family Planning, who was confirmed to be the one to perform this particular late-term abortion, made national news earlier this year when the Center for Medical Progress released footage of conversations with her about the harvest and sale of aborted baby remains. She was caught on video joking about the brutality of the late-term procedure stating, ‘It takes a bit more [arm strength to dismember a late term baby]. I have to hit the gym for this.’

    “In addition to these babies being fully developed enough to survive outside the womb between 22-24 weeks of pregnancy, their lucrative body parts, organs and tissues are then being harvested for experimental research.”

    Albuquerque, NM- On January 4, 2017 the New Mexico Attorney General, Hector Balderas released to the Associated Press two letters, one addressed to the United Stated House of Representatives and the other was addressed to Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico revealing the finding of his investigation into the New Mexico Abortion Cartel’s harvesting and trafficking of aborted baby remains in potential violation of state law. Even though Shaver was the one who filed the initial formal complaint, Balderas’ office did not provide his response to her before he notified the media of his decision. Both letters were requested by Shaver’s attorney and were forwarded over by the AG’s public records custodian later in the day, time stamped: “January 4, 2018 at 3:59:56 PM MST”

    Shaver’s complaint was based on two New Mexico statutes that she believed were being violated by members of the New Mexico abortion cartel, Southwestern Women’s Options and the University of New Mexico. Balderas’ response letters indicate that his investigation found no violation of state law. His decision comes two and a half years after the original complaint filed by Shaver and one year after the Select Panel, who sent two referrals to Balderas, disbanded.

    Ironically, The Albuquerque Journal published two front page articles today, one on the AG’s decision regarding Shaver’s complaint indicating that there was no selling of human tissue in violation of New Mexico laws, and the other article on the suspension of Dr. Robin Ohls’ research at the University of New Mexico.

    In a memo from Paul Roth to the UNM Board of Regents he states that,

    “HSC staff was concerned that: 1) an issue was being raised that would potentially infringe on the University’s policy to not buy or sell human tissue, and 2) appropriate research compliance approvals and processes protocols had not been followed.”

    The article states that UNM officials went so far as to barr Ohl’s from her own lab at the University.

    Did Attorney General Balderas really do a thorough investigation of what is actually taking place regarding the trafficking of aborted baby remains in New Mexico?

    “Laws that are overlooked and unenforced are a disservice to everyone, and in this case to the babies who are viewed as experimental research material instead of human beings. Balderas only furthers this mindset by failing to act justly in prosecuting those that are actively harvesting and transferring aborted baby remains. For any reasonable person this reality should shake us to our core and encourage us to keep moving forward seeking justice for all,” stated Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico.

    Angelo Artuso, Attorney for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement:

    “I am very disappointed but, unfortunately, not surprised by the Attorney General’s conclusions regarding the ongoing trade in baby body parts here in New Mexico. After all, we live in a State where aborting a baby in utero is lawful through all nine months of pregnancy.

    Under any common sense reading of New Mexico’s Maternal, Fetal and Infant Experimentation Act, the actions by SWO and UNM violate the law. If the statute is not going to be enforced as written, then I would strongly urge the Legislature to revisit the question of whether an unborn child who has been lawfully killed in this State should be subjected to the further indignity of being carved up and experimented upon like a piece of animal flesh.

    It is time for our elected officials to stop hiding behind convenient definitions which provide that an unborn child is not human, or not a person. The use of aborted baby parts for any purpose should be repugnant to all civilized people. To deny this truth is to join the ranks of Mao, Stalin, Idi Amin, Dr. Josef Mengele, and every other tyrant who deals with inconvenient people by denying that they are people.

    I pray that New Mexico will find its way back to a higher standard.”

    The staffer sounds like a young woman but seems as if she is already immune to the barbarity of this simple business transaction. If she even thinks about the human being about to be killed, it’s not evident in her voice.

    Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, and Bud and Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico, released the following statement today:

    “Las Vegas, Nevada, joins the growing list of states that this undercover investigation has exposed that are conducting late-term abortions. The state of Nevada allows abortions through 24 weeks of pregnancy. The receptionist at the Birth Control Care Center tells the caller that it’s no problem to have an abortion in their facility up to 23 weeks and 3 days, even though both mom and baby are healthy. This is a crime against humanity, but it is 100 percent legal in much of our nation. And it’s happening every day.”

    On its website, the abortion business says it is “the oldest and most trusted abortion clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada providing abortion services for residents in Nevada, Southern Arizona and Utah.” It opened in January 1973, the same month that Roe v. Wade legalized abortion.

    Albuquerque, NM- The Associated Press released a brief report today alleging that New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas sent a letter to members of the House Select Investigative Panel stating that, “no state laws were broken by the transfer of fetal tissue between an Albuquerque abortion clinic and researchers at the University of New Mexico.”

    Even though Tara Shaver, of Abortion Free New Mexico filed a complaint predating the congressional panels criminal referrals to Balderas’ office, Shaver has not received a similar letter. In fact, her legal counsel was informed on December 7, 2017 by Dylan Lange, Assistant Attorney General that a “civil investigation remains ongoing.”

    Shaver’s complaint was prompted by a consent form from Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO) that women were required to sign before their abortion, stating that “I understand that tissue and parts will be removed during the procedure, and I consent to their examination and their use in medical research…” Shaver’s complaint outlined that two state statutes were believed to be in violated by SWO, the Jonathan Spradling Revised Uniform Anatomical Gift Act that excludes aborted babies from use in medical research and the Maternal, Fetal and Infant Experimentation Act which states that “No fetus shall be involved as a subject in any clinical research activity unless the purpose of the activity is to meet the health needs of the particular fetus and the fetus will be placed at risk only to the minimum extent necessary to meet such needs or no significant risk to the fetus is imposed by the research activity.” According to the Act, “‘fetus’ means the product of conception from the time of conception until the expulsion or extraction of the fetus or the opening of the uterine cavity, but shall not include the placenta, extra embryonic membranes, umbilical cord, extra embryonic fluids and their resident cell types and cultured cells.”

    “It is business as usual in New Mexico that the Attorney General, Hector Balderas responds to a Congressional Committee more than one year after it was disbanded. It is my hope that the Department of Justice will take a dim view of Balderas’ incompetence and arrogance and will perform a proper investigation into the illegal activities going on within the New Mexico abortion cartel centered at UNM,” stated Fr. Stephen Imbarrato of Priests for Life.

    “Attorney General Hector Balderas protects those who profit from and are in the business of dehumanizing children in the womb by his lack of enforcement of state laws that are designed to protect New Mexicans, which should include those in the sanctuary of their mothers’ wombs. There will never be justice in New Mexico until leaders, law makers and law enforcers stop propping up a failing abortion industry whose grisly trade negatively effects the most vulnerable of our communities,” stated Tara Shaver Spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico.

    In 2009, Metropolitan Medical paid $1.9 million in an out-of-court settlement brought by a woman who suffered a botched abortion there and later had to undergo a hysterectomy. On the premises, state health inspectors found a rusted crochet hook used to remove IUDs, as well as dirty forceps and a quarter-inch of dirt and debris under the examining tables. At the time, the business was performing 10,000 abortions a year.

    In a joint statement, Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, and Tara Shaver, the pro-life activist making the calls, said:

    “In Ohio, late-term abortions are legal and are being performed on healthy mothers carrying healthy babies up to 21 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy. The state of Ohio has recently made a great stride to protect babies with Down syndrome from abortion but there is still work to be done to protect healthy babies after 20 weeks of pregnancy who are routinely being aborted.

    “We urge Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown to support the federal Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to ensure that babies who feel pain receive protection from barbaric and unnecessary late term abortions.”

    The federal bill is expected to come up for a vote in mid-January and would ban abortion after 20 weeks.

    Father Pavone noted that Sen. Brown, who is up for re-election in 2018, has a 100 percent rating from Planned Parenthood, voted against a partial-birth abortion ban in 2000 and more recently, voted against even considering the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act in 2015.

    Albuquerque, NM- In 2017 Abortion Free New Mexico has documented the Abortion Landscape Shift in New Mexico since 2010, in parts 1-5 of this series. These reports have highlighted how the abortion cartel is in full retreat and that their plans of expansion throughout New Mexico have been stifled. Abortion Free New Mexico has a watchful eye on the entire state’s abortion facilities and has plans to continue working to systematically see that these facilities close down until New Mexico is an abortion free state.

    There are five abortion facilities in New Mexico. Only three of these abortion facilities perform surgical abortions in the state and all three are located in Albuquerque. Each of the Albuquerque abortion facilities are currently under investigation because of the research and formal complaints filed by Abortion Free New Mexico:

    1. Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO)– Southwestern Women’s Options is the nations most notorious late term abortion facility and is owned by Curtis Boyd. Curtis Boyd admits to being an illegal abortionist prior to Roe v. Wade. SWO is currently under investigation by New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas after a formal complaint was filed by Tara Shaver in July 2015. Thanks to Congressman Steve Pearce, the Department of Justice recently confirmed that SWO is now under review by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).     2. University of New Mexico (UNM)– The University of New Mexico has an entrenched radical pro-abortion agenda that Abortion Free New Mexico has been exposing for years. They have now found themselves under review by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for their collaboration with Southwestern Women’s Options and the use of aborted baby remains. Earlier this year Abortion Free New Mexico documented UNM’s willingness to perform late term abortions in their state funded hospital in continued collaboration with SWO. They still operate a free standing abortion facility and train student residents to perform abortions through the Ryan Residency Training program.     3. Planned Parenthood of New Mexico– In April 2016, a New Mexico Nursing Board complaint was filed by Tara Shaver against Planned Parenthood abortionist, Vivianne Clark. Tara discovered that Clark, a nurse practitioner, was performing illegal abortions up to 24 weeks of pregnancy in Albuquerque. New Mexico law requires that only licensed physicians can perform surgical abortions. The outcome of the Nursing Board’s investigation should come in the Spring of 2018. Clark also performs medical abortions in Santa Fe, NM. Planned Parenthood of New Mexico is currently struggling to keep an abortionist on staff, in Albuquerque, that is willing to kill babies beyond 10 weeks of pregnancy.     In addition, Abortion Free New Mexico exposed Hill Top Women’s Reproductive Clinic, the fifth abortion facility in the state which is located in eastern New Mexico near the Texas border. Hill Top has a second abortion facility in El Paso, TX. In a recorded undercover phone call to Hill Top, Abortion Free New Mexico was able to demonstrate how its Texas location is using New Mexico’s lack of abortion laws to evade Texas abortion limitations. Minors are regularly referred to Hill Top’s facility in New Mexico to obtain their abortions without parental consent.     Although the Planned Parenthood staffer seemed guarded about giving out information, she confirmed that it is legal to kill a healthy baby up until 21 weeks, 6 days into a healthy mother’s pregnancy.

    Washington, DC — In a year that abortion businesses attempted to expand in America, the actual number of abortion facilities decreased by 27 clinics over 2016 totals.

    Closures far outpaced newly opened abortion facilities in 2017.  In all, 49 abortion facilities — 35 surgical and 14 medication only clinics — closed or halted abortion services. Only eight new surgical abortion facilities were opened, along with eleven new medication abortion facilities.

    There was also some movement between categories. Fourteen surgical abortion facilities now only conduct medication abortions, while five medication abortion facilities added surgical abortions.

    These encouraging statistics and more were verified through an annual survey of abortion facilities conducted by Operation Rescue staff, this year with the assistance of Abortion Free New Mexico.

    “Operation Rescue’s annual surveys provide the most complete and accurate picture of abortion facilities available — straight from the horse’s mouth,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue.

    Methods

    Each year, Operation Rescue surveys each abortion facility in the U.S. using a number of investigative methods. Each facility was directly contacted. Abortion facility personnel voluntarily verified that abortions were available, and shared information on abortion pricing and wait times, although they were not aware the information was going to Operation Rescue.

    By the Numbers

    In 2017, there are 704 abortion facilities remaining in the U.S. Of these, 490 offer surgical abortions, often along with medication abortions. There are 214 facilities that offer only medication abortions.

    Official Complaint Filed Regarding Woman’s Death During Late Term Abortion

    Albuquerque, NM- Abortion Free New Mexico has filed an official complaint with the New Mexico Medical Board asking for an investigation into Curtis Boyd’s involvement of the abortion related death of a woman earlier this year.

    Out of respect to the family we have redacted her name and will simply refer to her in our report as Ms. A.

    According to the complaint, Ms. A, a 23 year old resident of Albuquerque, NM is not alive today because of the lack of care she received at Southwestern Women’s Options late term abortion facility. It is imperative that the New Mexico Medical Board thoroughly investigate what went wrong at Curtis Boyd’s abortion mill in order to protect other women from the same fate as Ms. A and her unborn child.

    The complaint states:

    I [Tara Shaver] am asking the New Mexico Medical Board to investigate Curtis Boyd, MD for what I believe is negligent care that lead to Ms. A’s death based on the following:

    1. There was a delay in Curtis Boyd’s ability to recognize Pulmonary thromboembolism in Ms. A even though she met the criteria for this condition. Curtis Boyd should have had a high index of suspicion of Pulmonary thromboembolism and made sure that she was transported to UNM Hospital immediately, as early intervention could have saved her life.
    2. The 911 call placed on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 12:04 p.m. which was later cancelled contributed to a delay in the emergency care that Ms. A required.
    3. Ms. A’s autopsy states “The lining of the uterus, as well as the maternal surface of the placenta showed acute inflammation, consistent with the clinical picture of a septic abortion.” It also states that she had bacteremia, a blood infection.
    4. The nature of the multiple day abortion procedure performed outside of a hospital setting, left her body vulnerable to infection. This procedure required that the unborn baby is killed on the first day and remains in the womb until delivery on the 3rd or 4th day. Repeated insertion and removal of laminaria cervical dilators each day can also contribute to infection.

    It is my belief and that of medical professionals I have consulted with, that not only did Ms. A not receive timely emergency medical care to identify and treat the Pulmonary thromboembolism, but she also had sepsis (from the abortion) which is a known trigger for Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC) that I believe lead to Ms. A ultimate cause of death being Pulmonary thromboembolism.

    In the interest of public safety I ask that the New Mexico Medical investigate what happened to Ms. A while under the care of Curtis Boyd MD from January 31, 2017-February 3, 2017.

    Background

    On January 31, 2017, Ms. A went to Southwestern Women’s Options, the office of Curtis Boyd, MD, for an abortion procedure around 24 weeks of pregnancy. This procedure typically takes between 3 and 4 days to complete. On Friday, February 3, 2017, she returned to Curtis Boyd’s office to complete her procedure. However, while at his office she complained of shortness of breath and her oxygen saturation dropped below her baseline. Curtis Boyd’s staff made a call to 911 at 12:04 p.m. to have Ms. A transferred to UNM Hospital but that transport request was later cancelled.

    Ms. A was pronounced dead at UNM Hospital on February 4, 2017 at 12:10 a.m. This was twelve hours after the initial 911 call was placed from Southwestern Women’s Options.

    Fr. Stephen Imbarrato of Priests for Life issued the following statement,

    “Are late term abortions really safe, legal and rare? Late term abortion up to the day of birth is legal in New Mexico. We have seen time and time again it is not rare that viable late term babies from around the world are murdered here in New Mexico. We also know abortion is not safe for the mothers of these dead babies. For Ms. A, her late term abortion was fatal. How many other women have died from late term abortions that have been covered up? How many more women must die before the medical community admits that abortions are not safe?”

    Abortion Worker: “No, um getting an abortion doesn’t require that you have a fetal anomaly or an abnormality, it’s really your choice.”

    Caller: “Even after 20 weeks?”

    Abortion Worker: “Yes.”

    PEARCE’S LETTER TO DOJ PROMPTS FBI REVIEW

    Albuquerque, NM- Abortion Free New Mexico together with fellow pro-life advocates and state leaders, issued a statement thanking Congressman Steve Pearce for his steadfastness in moving pro-life efforts forward in New Mexico. Pearce issued an appeal to U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions in September asking that the Department of Justice investigate two criminal referrals from the Select Panel on Infant Lives and with regard to the abortion related death of Keisha Atkins in February of this year.

    On December 7th, the DOJ sent a letter to Congressman Pearce letting him know that the Federal Bureau of Investigation will now be investigating the criminal referrals and specifically the University of New Mexico and Southwestern Women’s Options regarding violations of state and federal law and the use of fetal remains.

    For far too long this matter has been ignored by Attorney General Hector Balderas who received an initial complaint filed by Tara Shaver in July 2015.

    Washington, DC (December 11, 2017) The U.S. Department of Justice confirmed that the Criminal Investigative Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will review the two criminal referrals sent to the New Mexico Attorney General by the U.S. House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives regarding violations made by the University of New Mexico (UNM) and the Southwestern Women’s Options (SWWO).

    “I’ve worked tirelessly with New Mexico officials and Members in Congress to ensure the rights and liberties of women and the unborn are protected. I applaud the action taken by the U.S. DOJ to take up not only the criminal referrals that were sent to New Mexico, but all fifteen criminal referrals that were sent out but not acted upon at the conclusion of the Select Panel’s investigation.     On April 19, 2017, Congressman Steve Pearce (NM-02) attended a press conference with Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn (TN-07), Chairwoman of the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives, New Mexico State Legislators and pro-life leaders in New Mexico on the House Select Panel’s findings of ethical and legal violations at UNM and SWWO.  Of the 15 criminal referrals filed by the Select Panel, 2 were sent to the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office.     In the ninth of its undercover phone calls to legal abortion clinics in America, Priests for Life today released the audio of a call to the office of abortionist Leroy Carhart in Bethesda, MD, showing more evidence that late term abortions are performed on healthy babies of healthy mothers.

    This educational project (www.priestsforlife.org/LateTermAbortion) is being carried out with the partnership of Abortion Free New Mexico (www.AbortionFreeNM).

    “Once again, our undercover phone calls reveal yet another abortion clinic who was willing to schedule an abortion for a  healthy mother carrying a healthy baby in the later stages of pregnancy, in this case, at 26 weeks,” said Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director.

    Here is the relevant part of the phone call to the abortion business of abortionist Leroy Carhart in Bethesda, MD:

    Clinic: “Do you have any major medical problems at all?” Caller: “No”

    Clinic: “Is there anything wrong with you or your pregnancy?” Caller: “No”

    Clinic: “At 26 weeks it’s $7000… We can see you up until 28 weeks; if there’s no medical reason after 28 weeks it’s a case by case basis.”

    Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico stated, “This latest undercover call reveals that Abortionist Leroy Carhart in Bethesda, MD is performing late term abortions on healthy women carrying healthy babies through 28 weeks of pregnancy. He is not, however, inclined to offer in office consultations for his patients who have questions before the 3-4 day abortion procedure. The abortion industry is not concerned with giving women information and choices; these profiteers are merely killers for hire who don’t want to answer any questions, they just want to get paid.”

    As part of its late-term abortion education project, Priests for Life today released another undercover phone call showing that healthy mothers of healthy children can obtain a legal abortion in the United States even at 32 weeks of pregnancy.


    (This call is to the abortion clinic of Abortionist Warren Hern. Abortion Free New Mexico is working with Priests for Life to raise national awareness about late term abortion.)

    “Our goal here is very simple: to reveal to the American people that healthy mothers are aborting healthy babies even in the final months of pregnancy, and that this is legal activity,” explained National Director Fr. Frank Pavone. “We are revealing this because many of our fellow citizens simply do not know or do not believe that this is happening. We show them the evidence. Knowing that it is happening is the first step towards stopping it.”

    The call released today was made last week to the clinic of abortionist Warren Hern in Boulder, Colorado. Hern is the author of the medical textbook Abortion Practice, which uses the words “decapitate” and “dismember” to describe the abortion procedure. The caller, posing as a woman at around 30 weeks of pregnancy, made no reference to any fetal anomalies or maternal health problems.

    She simply stated,

    “My husband and I just split up and I just don’t want to continue the pregnancy.”

    The four-day abortion procedure was scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 28, at which point the clinic pointed out she would be at 32 weeks of pregnancy.

    The undercover call was carried out with the assistance of Abortion Free New Mexico. Tara Shaver, who represents that organization, stated,

    “This undercover investigation reveals that Abortionist Warren Hern in Boulder, Colorado is willing to perform an abortion at 32 weeks of pregnancy for $25,000 with virtually no questions asked. Late term abortions have no place in a civilized society, yet in America they are performed on healthy women carrying healthy babies all across this nation. This should be a wake up call for Americans who refuse to believe that this is happening.”

    The call was the eighth in a series of calls that Priests for Life will continue to commission across the nation. The previous calls so far were made to the Southwestern Women’s Options clinic in Albuquerque, NM, where our callers successfully made abortion appointments at 25, 30, and even 33 weeks.

    “Even people who identify as pro-choice reject abortion at these late stages of pregnancy,” Fr.     In Abortion Free New Mexico’s latest undercover project that has taken viewers inside the notorious Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO) late term abortion facility, the investigation has also uncovered that the University of New Mexico (UNM), a publicly funded institution, is willing to collude with late term abortionists to deliver dead babies at UNM Hospital once a deadly injection is administered by abortionists at SWO.

    The price tag of a late term abortion at Southwestern Women’s Options is a staggering $17,000, but in a SHOCKING revelation, SWO employee Susana Estorga, states that for $5,000 they would be willing to offer the fetal injection ALONE and then send the woman away to deliver the baby 2-3 days later elsewhere.

    • The fetal injection administered by SWO abortionists kills the baby in the womb by slowly stopping their heart over 4-6 grueling hours.

    If a woman opts to obtain the fetal injection at Southwestern Women’s Options, SWO has an expectation that other OB-GYN’s will oversee the completion of the labor and delivery of the stillborn child. However, most OB-GYN’s will not participate in abortions, especially at religious hospitals, like Presbyterian in Albuquerque, so SWO is apparently relying upon the University of New Mexico’s entrenched abortion agenda and utilizes an arrangement to ensure that “injection only” patients can labor and deliver their dead babies at UNM Hospital.

    In an undercover phone call placed to the Women’s and Children’s Health Care Clinic at UNM Hospital, Tara Shaver with Abortion Free New Mexico also confirmed the fact that, Lily Bayat a UNM Fellow at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center would deliver the dead baby at UNM Hospital after Southwestern Women’s Options administered the lethal injection.

    Lily Bayat holds positions at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences center in the Divisions of Family Planning and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynocology. In addition, Bayat receives an annual salary by the University New Mexico of $57,747 as a, “Visiting Instructor”.

    “Abortion Free New Mexico has exposed just how deep the collusion is between the University of New Mexico and Southwestern Women’s Options to ensure that late term abortions continue up to the day of birth. Hospitals are meant to be places where the sick go for healing, but the abortion industry is utilizing them for their own sordid death agenda.” Tara Shaver, Spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico.

    GLARING CONTRADICTIONS

    The Albuquerque Journal published an article on December 20, 2015 titled, UNMHSC halts training at private abortion clinic in it the ABQ Journal reported that, “UNMHSC officials said last week that they will no longer send medical fellows or residents to Boyd’s clinic, which is located in Downtown Albuquerque.”

    However, UNM’s website contradicts that report and still clearly states, as of publishing time of this article, October 31, 2017…

    “Fellows are trained in abortion and contraception care, using evidence-based medical and surgical methods. Training occurs primarily at the UNM Center for Reproductive Health, the Albuquerque Planned Parenthood Surgical Center, and Southwestern Women’s Options (Dr. Curtis Boyd). Later second and third trimester abortions are performed at UNM Hospital and at SWO.”

    In addition, Southwestern Women’s Options is currently listed as a UNM Clinical Training Site.

    Despite these glaring contradictions that show a continued relationship between UNM and SWO, Abortion Free New Mexico has conclusively confirmed that a current Fellow at the University of New Mexico, Lily Bayak, is willing to work with Southwestern Women’s Options patients to complete a late term abortion at UNM Hospital once the fetal injection is administered to kill the pre-born baby.

    Abortion Free New Mexico’s Tara Shaver, uncovered the collusion via the Ryan Residency Training Program initiated by the University of New Mexico between Planned Parenthood of New Mexico, and Southwestern Women’s Options to train UNM residents to perform abortions in the first, second, and even third trimesters in 2011 with her first installment: Exposé: Tax Funded Abortion Training and the Betrayal of True Medicine at UNM.

    Fr. Stephen Imbarrato: The Protest Priest with Priests for Life issued the following statement,

    “The collaboration between Southwestern Women’s Options, UNM Center for Reproductive Health abortion facility, and UNM Hospital shows that UNMHSC headed by Dr Paul Roth is the heart of the New Mexico Abortion Industry.

    As a taxpayer, I am appalled that tax money pays for this unnecessary bloodshed! What is worse is the knowledge that Dr. Paul Roth’s right hand man, Ryan Cangiolosi is the head of the New Mexico Republican Party! This is the “statewide conspiracy of complacency and complicity” that we have been speaking about for a decade now!”

    ACTION ITEM: Abortion Free New Mexico is asking that you contact the University of New Mexico Regents and respectfully ask them to STOP ALLOWING ABORTIONISTS AT UNM HOSPITAL TO PROMOTE AND PERFORM LATE TERM ABORTIONS AT THE EXPENSE OF NEW MEXICO TAX DOLLARS. In addition, respectfully ask them to PERMENANTLY cut all ties with Planned Parenthood of New Mexico and Southwestern Women’s Options.

    Albuquerque, NM- Abortion Free New Mexico has released a more in-depth interview with Felicia, who went undercover into Southwestern Women’s Options, the nation’s most notorious late term abortion facility, while 37 weeks pregnant. World Net Daily described the first video, released last week, documenting Southwestern Women’s Options willingness to perform an abortion as late as 37 weeks of pregnancy as “stunning.”

    Felicia was the perfect operative to go inside to document just how far into the pregnancy Southwestern Women’s Options was willing to perform a late-term abortion since her son Jonah was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, while in utero as a result of two genetic tests. Two days after what would have been Felicia’s scheduled abortion appointment at 38 weeks of pregnancy she went into labor and he was born, perfectly healthy. In this video she shares more about the fetal diagnosis she received that resulted in pressure to have an abortion by her genetic counselor. She also shares words of encouragement aimed at women who may be facing a similar fetal anomaly diagnosis while pregnant and speaks to the sanctity of all human life.
