Albuquerque, NM – A small BUT aggressive network of organizations have criticized, demonized and even ostracized participants of Red Rose Rescue outreaches nationwide, even those who organized and participated in a Red Rose Rescue here in Albuquerque, New Mexico where no one was even arrested 😳. Those in the pro-life movement who publicly oppose these peaceful efforts… are missing the forrest for the trees.

  • Red Rose Rescue outreach is the ULTIMATE sacrificial act of peaceful non-compliance to government sanctioned, government sponsored, and government FUNDED mass murder of pre-born children.

These Red Rose warriors for Christ do not arm themselves with weapons of hate and violence to confront the violence of abortion. They are RADICALLY countercultural, they storm the gates of hell with weapons of sacrificial LOVE willing to face an un-just arrest and they arm themselves with  Red Roses.

Fr. Stephen Imbarrato: The Protest Priest explained the Red Rose Rescue to

Once inside, these pro-lifers quietly speak with mothers and others seated in the waiting rooms and offer them red roses as a symbol of life. In addition to reaching out to the mothers, rescuers choose to remain in the facility as an act of solidarity with the unborn children scheduled to be killed by abortionists” said Imbarrato, of Priests for Life and has been previously arrested in Red Rose Rescues.

  • MAY 26, 2018 RED ROSE RESCUE Washington D.C. (Fr. Fidelis of the Franciscan Fathers of the Renewal pictured being arrested)

These peaceful Red Rose Rescue efforts have exposed the hypocrisy dominating our modern mainstream media driven culture that allows anti-gun activists to storm grocery stores nationwide in a Publix Die In which was a highly publicized and an applauded act of civil disobedience.

  • BUT… WHY?

WHY are Red Rose Rescuers being arrested, when teenagers lying in the middle of aisles at Publix Die In are not?

However, an amazing breakthrough occurred over Memorial Day weekend when 4 rescuers were arrested on Saturday May 26, 2018. ALL of the CHARGES against ALL of the Red Rose Rescue participants were DROPPED!

Monica Miller of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, who oversees the national Red Rose Rescue efforts, reveals just how unprecedented the developments are. In the past Red Rose Rescue trials, the judges presiding over the cases have not allowed Red Rose (RR) Rescuers to present a “necessity defense” for the pre-born children facing imminent death. HOWEVER with the RR Rescue in Washington D.C. on May 26, 2018 the law enforcement officers viewed their peaceful efforts as a valid “necessity defense” EVEN if they had in fact broken trespassing laws and dropped ALL charges BEFORE they had to appear before a judge:

The pro-lifers, namely Father Fidelis Moscinski of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, 26-year-old Lauren Handy, Adele Gillhooly and Baby Jane Doe (pro-lifer who will remain anonymous in jail in solidarity with the nameless, unwanted unborn–as of right now she is still in jail) talked to the mother’s scheduled for abortion, handed out literature, and offered red roses to everyone. A few women did take the roses and the literature, and indeed one woman named Esperanza left the clinic after Baby Jane Doe counseled her.  Esperanza came down into the parking lot and was counseled again by sidewalk counselor and Red Rose Rescue supporter Bonnie Borel.  A boyfriend and girlfriend who tried to enter the clinic were given a rose by Fr. Fidelis and they also left.

Amazingly– [charges and indeed the trespass citations] were dropped against all three RR Rescuers.  A police officer explained the dropped charges this way:  Last week a man who was in possession of an illegal hand gun used the gun to shoot a dog who was mauling a child, thus saving the child from serious injury, even death. Under the circumstances the police opted not to charge the man with the illegal hand gun possession. Apparently the DC officers, and possibly with the cooperation of the district attorney, sees the Red Rose Rescuers in the same light. In other words, technically they many be in violation of the law, but they were attempting to save lives and so may not be charged with any crime–and [all of the] rescuers’ charges have been dropped. Such a disposition on the part of law enforcement in a pro-life rescue situation is unprecedented.

“While not everyone is able to participate in Red Rose Rescues, those who are laying down their lives for the babies deserve our prayers and respect. There is a place for everyone in the pro-life movement, let’s all work together to end the scourge of abortion in our nation and lift each other up in this battle for LIFE,” stated Tara Shaver, Spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico.

In addition to organizing and participating FULLY in the Red Rose Rescue efforts nationwide, Fr. Stephen Imbarrato also has a decisive strategy to END abortion called the Personhood Proclamation.

*From LifeSiteNews:

The Red Rose Rescues are modelled after the actions of Canadian Mary Wagner, who has spent nearly five years in jail for her peaceful attempts to save women and children from the violence of abortion.

Wagner, currently not in jail, has a trial July 12 for similar rescue efforts in Toronto.

Santa Fe, NM – The state of New Mexico is considered by some pro-abortion activists as, “No. 1 in the nation for providing equal access to sexual and reproductive health services”…[ABORTION!] in addition, we are known as the Late Term Abortion Capital of America.

While pro-abortion extremists would champion the fact that New Mexico leads the nation for “Abortion On Demand, and Without Apology” and claim that unrestricted access to abortion services is wonderful for New Mexico…

  • Let’s take an honest look at how these regressive policies may be actually holding New Mexico back from fulfilling its greatest potential. Instead of being a wonderfully empowering place to live…

New Mexico is actually one of the worst places for children, families, and retirees to live:

This past week we joined our prayers with fellow pro-life Americans across the state of New Mexico and around our country to cry out to our Lord in repentance for 45 years of innocent bloodshed spilled all across our nation. On this 45th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court Ruling (January 22, 1973) we must ask ourselves what more we can do to reverse this 45 year curse.

Wednesday, January 17, 2018: This past week we joined hundreds of fellow pro-life marchers for the Annual 2018 Sanctity of Life Awareness and Unity Day up in Santa, Fe to stand for life and send a strong message to the New Mexico legislature to enact laws to protect the most vulnerable community residing in New Mexico, those living in the sanctuary of their mother’s wombs.

In addition, we were not there simply to march, we were also there to work and help get Pro-Life candidate, Michelle Garcia Holmes on the republican ballot for lieutenant governor of New Mexico for the 2018 upcoming election!

Friday, January 19, 2018: Also this past week we joined local pro-life activists for the First Annual: Albuquerque March for Life

March for Life around The University of New Mexico – UNM, a major player in the abortion cartel in New Mexico.

“January is Sanctity of Life Month so let’s march for LIFE! Let’s let our community and our government know that we will not silently stand by and allow state and federally sanctioned homicide any longer—and do it with the peace and love of our Messiah in the public square.”

Saturday, January 20, 2018: Abortion Free New Mexico joined the Messianic pro-life community in Albuquerque, New Mexico for prayer and fellowship on Shabbat…

…and then we took our prayerful presence out to the streets to stand for life. Saturday, January 20, 2018.

Sunday, January 21, 2018: Abortion Free New Mexico is visiting a different local church each Sunday this Sanctity of Life month 2018.We were at a church in Albuquerque, New Mexico for Sanctity of Life Sunday 2018.

The 45th President of the United States addressed the 2018 March for Life, marking 45 years of legalized Abortion in America

Here is an excerpt of Donald J. Trump’s Historic speech:

“As you all know Roe versus Wade has resulted in some of the most permissive abortion laws anywhere in the world. For example, in the United States, it’s one of only seven countries to allow elective late-term abortions along with China North Korea and others. Right now, in a number of States, the laws allow a baby to be [aborted] from his or her mother’s womb in the ninth month.

It is wrong. It has to change.

I strongly supported the House of Representatives’ pain-capable bill, which would end painful late-term abortions nationwide. And I call upon the Senate to pass this important law and send it to my desk for signing.” Donald J. Trump, President of the United States

President Trump’s full historic speech to March for Life

  • We stand with President Trump and join him in calling upon the Senate to pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and send it to his desk for signing, thereby putting an end to painful late term abortions nationwide.

She Hitchhiked…👍

She Hitchhiked…👍

By Tara Shaver

Albuquerque, NM- This week we were reminded of what our ministry is all about when God brought two mothers that we have helped over the years back into our lives. Pro-Life ministry is about saving babies lives by revealing the light and love of Christ to their mothers in their darkest hour, when it seems to them that an abortion is their only option.

There are many ways to save the lives of pre-born children, and for four years of our ministry here in Albuquerque we ministered to women seeking abortions at local abortion centers. Only the Lord knows just how many lives are saved when Christians are faithfully present at these places of death but there is nothing more beautiful than to see the fruit of your labor when visited by the moms who chose life because of your presence.

We continue to be blessed by still receiving phone calls and emails from mothers in need and also encouraging thank you’s from moms that we have had the privilege of ministering to over the past 7 years.

She Hitchhiked to an Abortion Center…

Mom “A” came right up to me [Tara] at a prayer service and even though we’d only met over the phone she said,

“I just want to say thank you for being there for me that day, if your husband hadn’t been there at the clinic, I would have done something bad, because he was there I didn’t.”

In tears I embraced her and was reminded that this is what our ministry is all about, helping moms choose life for their babies.

(Mom “A” and her son spared from abortion. She now wants to share the good news about what Christ has done in her life by sidewalk counseling out at local abortion centers and use her testimony to help other women!)

Mom “A” hitchhiked to an abortion center in 2013 and approached Bud. Bud ministered to her, showed her what an abortion would do to her baby, assessed her situation and ultimately drove her to Project Defending Life. We put her in touch with a local family who took her and her daughter into their home until she left for Teen Challenge.

FLASHBACK to November 2013…

Here is her story:

“My name is Andrea. I am currently working with “A”. She is 11 weeks pregnant. Her story is nothing short of amazing.

Here is a single mother who after finding out she was pregnant for the second time was excited until her boyfriend began to pressure her to have an abortion.

She fought it till finally she gave in and went to the clinic. Inside she hoped and prayed that someone would stop her before she went in.

Upon arrival, she met Bud Shaver, God’s messenger. He had her talk to his wife Tara Shaver and Tara asked her if she would go to Project Defending Life (PDL). She agreed to go. She was relieved and she kept her baby!!

She attended parenting classes at PDL for two weeks and on the third week I met her.

I was there to support a mom and a daughter who were intercepted at the late-term clinic on Lomas. “A” needed a ride home. I offered and she accepted. On our ride home she told me the whole story-meeting Bud, her trip to PDL. But the battle for her baby was not over yet.

She told me about her substance abuse. It broke my heart. She told me she was two weeks clean. But many nights there in the war zone at her apartment, “friends” would come over. They would invite their friends and it would be one big drug party.

She tried to be strong and tell them to leave but they wouldn’t. People would stay all hours of the night and on to the next morning. Some she didn’t even know.

I told her that her and her 3-year old daughter cannot stay one more day in her apartment. My mom lovingly took her in. I also told her about Teen Challenge. She was thrilled to hear about it and said she was ready to go. She told me that she wants to start a new life for her and her daughter.

That night before I left she prayed to give her life to Christ.

Since she made that decision to go to Teen Challenge she has had no end of criticism from her family but I did expect that.

We are almost to the finish line! After one tiring week of tests and Dr. appointments, lawyers and errands we have a move date-November 19th 2013. Teen Challenge has accepted her and her daughter into the program. It is the only Teen Challenge that will let her take her child into the program as well.”

(November 18, 2013, the day before she left for Teen Challenge. We had the privilege to take a photo with “A”: pictured in the middle [pregnant with her son], her daughter and the pro-life warriors who took care of her.)

Homeless and Alone…

Mom “B”, who we also reconnected with and were able to give follow up support and prayers to this week was initially given our phone number while she was staying at the Albuquerque, “Safe House” which is a safe haven for victims of domestic violence. She received our number from another woman that we had helped when she was pregnant…years ago!

When we met “B”, she was in fear for her life because of the baby’s father. She had no one to help her and wasn’t sure how she was going to make it, homeless with a new baby on the way. Over the course of several weeks of ministering to her, we were able to pray with her, help her secure housing, and bring her to the CareNet in Rio Rancho where she received maternity and baby items.

Here is a picture of her precious baby girl born in August 2017:
