    Albuquerque, NM —Now that the Protest ABQ campaign has concluded, this does not mean that we are folding or backing down in ANY way. The protest efforts over the past 3 years have helped to produce a dramatic reversal and promising public policy shift in New Mexico. Now is the season for implementing proven strategies that will result in New Mexico becoming, Abortion Free.

    As Pro-Life Missionaries, serving in New Mexico since 2010 our research and public awareness efforts have helped to expose that New Mexico is drawing women from all across the world and America to obtain barbaric late-term abortions that are illegal in their own hometowns. New Mexico is now known nationally as the late-term abortion capital. In addition, we have uncovered horrific conditions inside New Mexico abortion facilities, tax funded atrocities, and an unregulated out-of control abortion cartel that is operating without oversight or common sense regulations.

    While God has accomplished so much through the prayers and support of so many, there is still more work to be done. We are now moving into the next phase to build upon the foundation that has been laid over the past 7 years…

    Bud and Tara Shaver will host a special evening dedicated to making New Mexico abortion free on April 18th and will be the official launch of Abortion Free New Mexico.

    Albuquerque, NM —Protest ABQ was officially launched in 2014 with the goals of educating the public to the fact that New Mexico had become the late-term abortion capital of the country and that the University of New Mexico (UNM) was the heart of the abortion cartel in the state. In addition, we wanted to expose and hold accountable those who either condone abortion outright or silently consent to it by refusing to take a bold public stand for protecting human life in the womb.

    Bud Shaver, executive director of Protest ABQ issued the following statement,

    “Protest ABQ’s tireless efforts over the past three years have helped to produce a dramatic reversal and promising public policy shift in New Mexico. Now in 2017 we are grateful that political leaders have stepped up with solid pro-life bills over the past two legislative sessions and have committed to carrying pro-life legislation until abortion is completely eradicated in the state. The University of New Mexico has been exposed nationally as one of the most abortion friendly universities in the entire country and UNM’s collusion with the nations largest late-term abortion killing center is now under criminal investigation. In addition, we appreciate the religious leaders both Evangelical and Catholic who have recently demonstrated a willingness to publicly stand up for the babies, so we are standing down.”

Zack’s mom was intercepted by Bud in 2013 outside of the University of New Mexico’s free standing abortion clinic.Zack’s mom was cut to the heart when she saw an abortion victim photo and even though she hitch hiked to her appointment after canceling 2 previous appointments, SHE CHOSE LIFE for her son who was born in May 2014.

    When our small family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico five years ago, virtually no one knew about late-term abortions taking place up to the day of birth here. In fact most people we talked to didn’t even know that these abortions were even legal!

    Since moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2010 our work has consistently been featured among national Pro-Life efforts in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014:

    Top Ten Victories of 2011:  National Pro-Life Victory #3 New Mexico Abortion Cartel Exposed: Together, the Shavers and Operation Rescue, uncovered and exposed a series of 911 calls that were evidence of life-threatening abortion complications at two Albuquerque abortion clinics. Complaints were filed with the Medical Board and the investigation into these unsafe clinics is progressing. In addition, the role of the University of New Mexico in the abortion industry has been fully documented, and efforts are underway to convince the UNM Regents to cease all participation in abortion and abortion training.

    Year in Review: Top Ten Victories from 2012:  Shelley Sella, faced a disciplinary hearing before the New Mexico Medical Board in November for gross negligence in a 35week abortion where Sella overused uterine contracting drugs on a woman with a history of a previous Caesarian Section, resulting in a ruptured uterus. The injury was discovered when former OR intern Tara Shaver obtained the 911 call records. OR and Mrs. Shaver filed complaints resulting in the Board action.

    2013:  Bud and Tara Shaver Named Operation Rescue’s 2013 Pro-Life Persons of the Year.

    2014: “Group launches new anti-abortion campaign” (KOB Eyewitness News 4) Protest ABQ www.protestABQ.com The Protest ABQ campaign culminated in the First EVER National Pro-Life Strike Jan. 22-23, 2015. The Protest ABQ campaign has been attributed by national pro-life groups for the dramatic political reversal in New Mexico, “Dramatic Reversal: Abortion Protests Lead to Promising Public Policy Shift in New Mexico” also, “Tectonic Political Shift in New Mexico Prompts Life-Saving Pro-Life Legislation.”

    In fact, as I am writing this, the 20 week Late-Term Abortion Ban just passed the second NM House committee and will now proceed to the House floor for a vote! This is one of the ONLY pro-life bills to ever make it to the NM House floor for an up or down vote in New Mexico in over 60 years!

    Albuquerque, NM- The month of January is unofficially designated by pro-lifers as the”Sanctity of Life Month.” January is always chocked full of Pro-Life efforts with annual Pro-Life Marches across the nation protesting and grieving the tragic Roe. vs. Wade ruling handed down from our US Supreme Court on January 22, 1973 along with the National Sanctity of Human LIFE Day, 2015 or “Sanctity of Life Sunday” designated so by President Ronald Reagan.

    While church leaders all across this nation preach powerful sermons and lead their congregations in concentrated prayer to end abortion, Pastor Manny Lardizabal of Transformation Ministries in Albuquerque, New Mexico took “Sanctity of Life Sunday” to a whole new level!  Pastor Manny did all of the above…and then he took it to the next level by purchasing 10 copies of “Abortion Free: Your Manual for Building a Pro-Life America One Community at a Time.”

    Pastor Manny’s desire in purchasing 10 copies of this “how-to manual” for making communities abortion free, is to make it a mandatory component of their ordination requirements.     The vision of Project 52 is to activate 52 local churches to adopt the Late-Term abortion clinic, Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO) for one week out of the year. Each church will have the freedom to minister as they see fit to each and every abortion minded woman. During their designated week, they will claim the Late-Term abortion clinic for every hour, every day SWO is open (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm).
