“Any reason is a good reason to get a late-term abortion, according to Lovejoy SurgiCenter in Portland, Oregon. Once again this undercover investigation reveals that healthy mothers carrying healthy babies are obtaining late-term abortions for any reason.
“Lovejoy SurgiCenter provides this elective procedure through 23 weeks and 5 days of pregnancy. These calls dispel the myth that late-term abortions are rare and only occur under dire circumstances for the women seeking them.
“As the public becomes more informed about the facts surrounding late-term abortion, the more urgent it has become for Congress to act and protect babies that science has established can feel pain at 20 weeks of pregnancy. Please contact your U.S. Senators and urge them to support the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.”
