Albuquerque, New Mexico- Cries of “Overturn Roe” will be voiced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and across the nation on December 1, 2021, as the United States Supreme Court hears arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson. The case has gathered substantial attention from both life advocates and abortion backers because it is the most significant challenge to Roe v. Wade to rise up in the courts in more than a decade. OverturnRoe.org, a pro-life coalition, is taking the battle over abortion to the streets on December 1 to voice their encouragement for upending the 1973 decision that legalized abortion in the United States. On December 1st, citizens will gather to pray and rally at Tiguex park in Albuquerque to urge the repeal of abortion on demand in America.
Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement,
“Our nation has waited for this opportunity to revisit Roe v. Wade for too many years and now the pro-life community at large is eager to see this unjust ruling overturned. The science is clear and everyone knows that when a woman is pregnant, she has a human child living within her and that child is worthy of protecting. Abortion Free New Mexico is humbled to come together in prayer and to work with local candidates in order to help New Mexico become a place where every child is valued and protected.”
