Albuquerque, New Mexico- On January 22, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a presidential proclamation designating the third Sunday of January (or close to that) as National Sanctity of Human Life Day. This day is a great opportunity for Pastors, Churches and Pro-life organizations across the United States to bring awareness to the daily attacks against human life through the abortion industry.
Abortion Free New Mexico will be at local churches hosting educational tables on Sanctity of Life weekend and we encourage you to use this time to inform your own Pastor and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Here are some tips:

Dear Pro-Life Advocate,
We are very excited to have a team from Living Waters join us to show the “What is it?” Movie at Calvary Rio Rancho on Sanctity of Life Sunday, January 21, 2024. If you are not familiar with the organization called Living Waters, you probably are familiar with Ray Comfort and his street preaching ministry proclaiming the gospel, fulfilling the great commission.
The movie, “What is it?” takes the same approach of delivering the gospel and logically and biblically describes human life in the womb. It is a powerful example of apologetics being applied to describing a pre-born baby and how God looks at His creation. The movie itself is about an hour long then we will follow with a Q&A session with Emeal Zwayne and Mark Spence of Living Waters to discuss the Pro-Life movement in our nation and in New Mexico.
This will be an opportunity for those who love God and love life to come together in prayer and fellowship. We hope that you, your ministry and anyone else you would like to invite can join other Pro-Life advocates to stand strong for life on January 21, 2024 from 5-7:30pm.

Prayer Rally & March hosted by Concerned Women for America
It is on Friday, January 26th from 12:00-2:00pm in the Rotunda at the capitol. While this prayer rally will not only focus on the life issues, we will be praying over life and recognizing the pro-life organizations who are present.
